Description: This nocturne captures the city’s energy through the glow of streetlights and the bold presence of red double-decker buses. The composition was first blocked in using deep values to define the buildings and nearby vehicles. Warm highlights and red-orange tones were then layered to reflect the rhythm of passing lights, while scattered, expressive marks evoke the shimmer of the city at night.
